Are my photos uploaded to a server?+
No. All blurring — including face detection — happens in your browser. No photo is uploaded or stored.
Is the blur reversible?+
No. The exported image contains permanently blurred or pixelated areas: the original content cannot be recovered. That's what makes it GDPR-compliant.
Does detection find every face?+
It catches most front-facing faces. For profiles, blurry or small faces, just draw the area by hand — it's instant.
Can I blur a license plate?+
Yes. Draw a rectangle over the plate and pick blur or black bar. You can mask as many areas as you want.
What's the difference between free and Pro?+
Free adds a small "make-blur.com" watermark and caps files at 20 MB. Pro removes the watermark, unlocks files up to 60 MB and HD export.
Does the 30-day pack renew?+
No, it's a one-time payment giving 30 days of Pro access. For continuous use, pick the monthly subscription.
Can I blur a video?+
Yes. Drop a video on the Video page: faces are detected and blurred automatically frame by frame, and you can add fixed areas (plate, logo). Everything happens in your browser, WebM export. Free is capped at 20s with a watermark; Pro does the full video with no watermark.
